Mary Rice delivered a speech to the Rotary Club of Greensboro on Oct. 26, briefing folks on the future of electric vehicles and exploring the critical role Toyota plays and will continue to play as a corporate citizen in Greensboro.

With a new line of Toyota EVs, improvements to vehicle technology and a new battery manufacturing plant on the horizon, Toyota is taking a realistic, goal-orientated approach to the future of EVs. And with the battery plant practically being built in Greensboro’s backyard, locals will soon realize the positive impact Toyota can have on a community.

“When Toyota commits to a community, they commit for the long term,” said Mary Rice, Principal Dealer at Rice Motor Company in Greensboro. “You and I will begin to see generational change in our community. You will see our education systems benefit and our community grow stronger because of Toyota’s corporate presence.”
